Saipem to build 2 bln euro S Stream segment for Russia’s Gazprom

MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- Italy’s Saipem S.p.A. will build a 2 billion euro sea segment of the first line of the South Stream pipeline led by Russia’s Gazprom, Gazprom said in a statement Friday.

Under the contract, Saipem will work out project documentation and will construct the sea pipeline and the connection with overland segments.
